Ordered a lovely gingerbread Bundt cake for Christmas and picked it up in their shop. (Sadly, the picture we took is blurry.). The bakery is located in an industrial area off 13th St in Ft. Lauderdale. There are a few dedicated parking spots outdoors. I was greeted warmly upon entering the shop. Some cakes are available on the spot (including cupcakes), but most items you need to order in advance. Our Bundt cake was moist and flavorful. We've had the pumpkin, chocolate, and key lime ones in the past. It comes refrigerated, and is easy to drizzle the icing before you are ready to serve your cake. Every cake I've ever had from We Take The Cake has been delicious and received praised from my friends and family. That's why I keep retuning!
Cute place to get beautiful cupcakes! Looks like a mini flower arrangement in your hand but it is indeed a cupcake! The woman at the register was very kind. It's not a place to sit and eat, but you can take it to go and enjoy it at home or anywhere else. It was fresh and tasted great!
A bakery based in Florida I have ordered online twice for birthday occasions! Beautiful cakes and very delicious best part comes with easy instructions to freeze. Had heard about their cakes from Oprah Winfrey years ago ,definitely pricey but worth it for special occasions . Easy customer service online and via phone friendly staff
I just had a slice of the best Coconut Cream Cake! When it's my birthday, I'm ordering my cake from here. The cake was a small, but it feed about 12 people.
I've only ordered from them twice - once in 2020 for my small wedding cake, and then for a New Years Eve party. We did the cake tasting for the wedding cake, and ended up choosing chocolate on top and vanilla on bottom. The cake was good - guests really loved the chocolate cake more than the vanilla. It was pretty and since we are local, I went and picked it up. That way it was freshly baked and ready to go. I think it makes a difference if you go directly to the store, but that's just my opinion. The New Years cake was white cake with champagne buttercream between 3 layers and the icing as well, with candy "pearls" and edible glitter. It was delicious. I would order that again!
I was lucky enough to get to try a slice that is served at Anthony's runway 84. The slice of cake was definitely the best part of the entire meal ! Chocolate cake is 10/10 Very rich, decadent, fudgy, not overly too sweet just perfect! Heavenly !

It was moist, tart, and dangerously addictive, nearly ate the entire thing. Pairs excellent with coffee if you're into that. I am. Also, ordering was super easy, I've recommended it all my friends and fam for their next brunch event or heck even for yourself. Because self love, right? Was skeptical fyi due to high profile reviews, but as your humble critic, I say try it, you won't regret it. They hype lived up to reality. Plus, now the box doubles as a cute toiletries holder ;)
